Well, the last week in AI felt more like a year. Last week saw a slew of significant developments, the most notable of which was Chat Chat 4.However, there were a few announcements you may not have caught with everything else happening. Including Google Workspace AI, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and Anthropic Claude. As well as the launch of Midjourney V5. Which you can find in our previous newsletter here.

First, last start with the headline that dominated headlines last week, Chat GPT 4. GPT-4 can solve difficult problems with greater accuracy, thanks to its broader general knowledge and problem solving abilities. GPT 4 surpasses ChatGPT in its advanced reasoning capabilities.

Let’s also talk about some use cases. Many users on Twitter have reported making video games in seconds with no user intervention including: Connect 4, Snake and Pong. DoNotPay is using GPT 4 to generate “one click lawsuits” to sue robocallers. Incredible 🤯

Next up, Google Workspace AI. Which quickly got overshadowed by the GPT 4 release but nonetheless is an incredible advance. The Google Workspace AI allows you to generate images, presentations, emails, docs and more. Here’s a video recap to get a better understanding.

Next, Anthropic’s Claude. Claude is an AI chat assistant. Essentially a conversational Chat GPT. You can chat with Claude, give it prompts to generate text, get Q&A responses and summaries, translate between languages, give it multi-step instructions and more using natural language. Last but certainly not least is Microsoft’s Co-Pilot in 365. The statement from Microsoft says “we’re giving people more agency and making technology more accessible with advanced AI and the most universal user interface: natural language.” The product is currently in the testing phase with 20 companies currently testing and 8 being Fortune 500 companies.
