Is this the week of the long anticipated arrival of Chat GPT-4? We started to see some rumors last week that this could potentially be THE week. Then, this past Thursday, Andreas Braun the CTO of Microsoft Germany mentioned at a kickoff event that this will be the week we see GPT-4.

The release of GPT-4 is imminent, as Microsoft Germany CTO Andreas Braun mentioned at an AI kickoff event on 9 March 2023.

So you may ask, what is the difference between GPT-3 and GPT-4? Well their could be a massive upgrade with GPT-4. Andreas said “We will introduce GPT-4 next week, there we will have multimodal models that will offer completely different possibilities – for example videos” Wow! Adding videos would be a huge upgrade with tons of possibilities.

GPT-4 is believed to be much more powerful than GPT-3 due to the fact that it claims to have 100 trillion parameters, whilst GPT-3 only has 175 billion. In addition, the performance of GPT-4 will be determined less by its size and more by the parameters of machine learning.

Whether it comes out this week or next. This will be an exciting development in the world of AI that is constantly changing and adapting.
